Cream reunion coming to America[n Express]

The first time they did it for the fans. This time, they're doing it for... American Express?

British rock trio Cream, will whip up a "Strange Brew" for American fans next month when it plays its first U.S. arena shows since breaking up in 1968, the band announced on Tuesday.

Guitarist Eric Clapton, bass player Jack Bruce and drummer Ginger Baker will play Madison Square Garden in New York on October 24, 25 and 26. [...]

Tickets go on sale on September 12 for American Express cardholders, and to the general public on September 19. [Emphasis added]

Fortunately, the band wasn't as picky about its payment methods when I saw them at London's Royal Albert Hall in May.
